Forthcoming Book

In addition to my cataloguing and transcribing of the effects of Louis Stokes, I am delighted to have been commissioned by Pen & Sword Books (https://www.pen-and-sword.co.uk) to write a book entitled ‘Rugbeians in the Great War’, detailing the wartime roles of famous Old Rugbeians who were influential in the fields of literature, sport, politics, warfare etc. That will, of course, include such well known names as Rupert Brooke and Arthur Ransome, but also five Victoria Cross winners, international Rugby players, Members of Parliament and Generals such as Ernest Swinton.
